Trace Cyrus is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the pop-rock band Metro Station. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, he is the son of country music star Billy Ray Cyrus and brother of Miley Cyrus. Trace began his music career in 2006 when he formed Metro Station with Mason Musso. The band released their debut album, "Metro Station," in 2007, which featured the hit single "Shake It." After the band's breakup in 2010, Trace pursued a solo career, releasing his debut solo album, "Trace Cyrus," in 2010. He has since released several more solo albums and singles, including "Killing the Pain" (2019) and "Nighttime" (2020).
