Art Department is the brainchild of Canadian electronic music producer Kenny Glasgow and Canadian DJ Jonny White. Initially formed as a collaborative project in 2009, Art Department became a pioneering force in the underground electronic music scene, known for their rich and moody take on techno and house music, with a particular penchant for deep, dark, and often melancholic sounds. Their signature style can be found across a series of well-received releases that combine brooding vocals, haunting melodies, and hypnotic rhythms.

The duo gained wide acclaim for their innovative approach and sonic exploration, with tracks such as "Without You," which became an international hit and set the course for their influential debut album, "The Drawing Board," in 2011. Over the years, their contribution to the genre has continued to evolve through a prolific output of original tracks and remixes, including "A Little Bit Of Love," and a substantial remix catalog featuring their reinterpretations of tracks like "Paradise 2011" and "Crazy." Despite Glasgow's departure in 2015 to pursue a solo career, Jonny White has carried on the Art Department mantle solo, ensuring the project's legacy with the release of "The Final Remixes" and "Natural Selection," among others, and persistent touring to bring their evocative sound to the global electronic music community.
