Moonrisers are a Detroit-based instrumental doom folk duo, consisting of guitarist Libby DeCamp and drummer Adam Schreiber. They make music rooted in the past yet engaged with the present, drawing inspiration from folk, blues, jazz, gospel, and even cowboy songs. Their debut album, *Harsh & Exciting*, is produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and is set to be released via Easy Eye Sound. The album features tracks like "Circle Of The Seasons," "Muddy Shores," and "All Your Hiding," showcasing their unique blend of earthy, cinematic soundscapes that evoke the natural world.
Libby DeCamp and Adam Schreiber have been playing together for over a decade, and their music journey intensified during the pandemic when they began uploading videos online. These sessions caught the attention of Dan Auerbach, who invited them to record their debut album in Nashville. The duo's music is characterized by its use of vintage instruments and a focus on nature and timelessness. Schreiber has also worked as a session player for artists like Stevie Nicks and Madi Diaz.
