Cinderella

Cinderella is an American rock band that soared to success in the mid-1980s with their blues-infused, glam metal sound that became emblematic of the era. Formed in Philadelphia in 1982 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Tom Keifer and bassist Eric Brittingham, the band's lineup was eventually solidified with the addition of lead guitarist Jeff LaBar and drummer Fred Coury. Cinderella's ascent was precipitated by their debut album "Night Songs" (1986), which achieved multi-platinum status, captivating fans with the hit singles like "Nobody's Fool" and "Shake Me."

The band's bluesy evolution was further showcased in their follow-up albums, "Long Cold Winter" (1988) and "Heartbreak Station" (1990), with chart-topping power ballads such as "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)" and anthems like "Gypsy Road." Despite the shifting musical climate of the early '90s, Cinderella continued to enjoy success with "Still Climbing" (1994), albeit with less commercial impact than their earlier works. While they've dealt with hiatuses and changes, including LaBar's passing in 2021, the band has remained a beloved live act, known for their electrifying performances showcased in live albums like "Live at the Key Club" and "Authorized Bootleg - Live/Tokyo Dome - Tokyo, Japan Dec 31, 1990." Their legacy is encapsulated in both their hit-laden catalog and their influence on the genre.
