Fronted by vocalist Jack Wharff, and rounded out by Garrett Howell on drums, Ryan Atchison on bass, and Evan Novoa on guitar, the band quickly gained attention with their energetic live shows and masterful musicianship. They first caught the public's eye by sharing original song snippets on TikTok and Instagram Reels, which led to viral success and a record deal with Big Machine Records. Growing up immersed in bluegrass through Jack Wharff's father’s band, The Slack Family, Jack developed a deep love for the style early on and began writing songs as a teenager. The band formed after Jack met Garrett and Ryan at an open mic night in Richmond in 2023, quickly adding Evan to complete the lineup. Their single "Burnin' It Down" became a breakout track, igniting interest on social media and proving their songwriting chops.
