Viviana Sofronitsky is a prominent classical pianist known for her mastery of historical performance on period instruments. Born into a musical family—her father was the renowned Russian-American pianist Vladimir Sofronitsky—Viviana has carved out a niche for herself as an expert interpreter of works on the fortepiano, the predecessor to the modern piano.
