Circulatory System is an experimental psychedelic pop band formed in Athens, Georgia, in the year 2000. The group is a continuation of frontman Will Cullen Hart's previous band, The Olivia Tremor Control, part of the Elephant 6 Collective—an influential community of musicians known for their unique blend of experimental rock, psychedelia, and lo-fi production techniques. Circulatory System carries forward this avant-garde tradition with a focus on layered soundscapes, rich with neo-psychedelic elements. The band's self-titled debut, "Circulatory System," released in 2001, was met with critical acclaim, setting the tone for their future work's intricate, collage-like approach to music-making.

Following their debut, Circulatory System's subsequent album "Signal Morning," released in 2009, continued the exploration of textured melodies and complex orchestration, imbuing their sound with both a sense of continuity and evolution. Their most recent album, "Mosaics Within Mosaics," came out in 2014, showing a further refinement of their style. The record once again assembled a vast array of musicians from the Elephant 6 Collective, weaving a tapestry of psychedelic folk-rock that plays with time signatures and sonic boundaries.
