Imprints

**Imprints** is a high-energy Folk-Rock band from Bristol, known for their lively performances and genre-bending sound, often described as a fusion of Folk, Celtic, Pirate, and Rock music. They have been making waves since forming in 2011 when members Andy Truckle and Vince Martin first began playing together in dorm rooms at Falmouth University. Over the years, they grew into a five-piece band, featuring Andy on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Vince on violin and vocals, Tom Cornwall on drums and vocals, Tom Bangham on bass, and Tashi Namgyal on keys. Their music often carries a "piratey" edge, with catchy choruses and a strong emphasis on energetic live performances.

Imprints have released several albums and EPs, including "Flagship" and more recently "From the Dark," which features the upbeat and accordion-led track "Portside." Their music has resonated with fans of the Folk-Punk scene, particularly in the South-West of England, where they often perform at festivals and in local venues. Recent releases like "From the Dark" have further solidified their place in the vibrant Celtic-Folk music landscape.
