Shock Treatment

Shock Treatment is a punk-rock/power pop trio from Madrid, Spain, formed in 1989. The band members were inspired by The Ramones, which led them to choose their name after a Ramones song. They released four albums before ceasing activity in 1998: "Adiós, tú," "Punk Party," "Operación Dragón," and "Están Vivos." Additionally, they participated in several singles and a split album with Italian and Spanish punk-rock bands. Their music reflects a strong influence from classic punk and power pop genres, with a lively and energetic sound reminiscent of their musical idols.

The band's history is marked by their early formation during high school, where their shared love for The Ramones brought them together. Their discography showcases a consistent output of punk-infused music, appealing to fans of the genre across Spain and beyond.
