Pendevig

Pendevig is a vibrant music project that amalgamates traditional Welsh music with diverse influences, creating a unique sound. The group, initially a 15-member ensemble, is composed of some of Wales's leading musicians and performers, including members from the award-winning folk band Calan. Pendevig aims to push the boundaries of traditional music, blending genres to create something entirely new. Their notable releases include "Pendevig I," "Merch y Melinydd," and the single "Lliw Gwyn," which was chosen as BBC Radio Cymru's Track of the Week and showcased at prominent events like the National Eisteddfod. The project has received support from the Arts Council of Wales, underscoring its significance in the Welsh music scene.
