Parallel Minds

Parallel Minds is a French progressive metal outfit formed in 2015, blending melodic riffage with sci-fi-inspired storytelling. Founded by guitarist/producer Guillaume Bernard (ex-Alien Gun), the project gained traction with their 2020 debut album *Every Hour Wounds… the Last One Kills*, which featured guest vocals from Marcela Bovio (Stream of Passion) and Mistheria. Known for their cinematic approach, they mix technical musicianship with themes exploring artificial intelligence and existential questions, creating what they cheekily call "cybernetic progressive metal."

The band’s recent singles like *No Fate* and *Headlong Disaster* continue their tradition of pairing chunky guitar work with synth textures and philosophical lyrics. Their 2023 releases *Echoes from Afar* and *Angel’s Battle* showcase collaborations with multiple vocalists, maintaining their reputation as a collective that bridges European prog-metal sophistication with punchy, concept-driven songwriting.
