Route 500 is an indie rock band from Toronto, Canada. Formed in 2018, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Matt James, bassist and vocalist Chris MacLean, and drummer and vocalist Matt Smith. Their music is characterized by its catchy melodies, energetic performances, and introspective lyrics. Route 500 has released several EPs and singles, including "Island Perimeter," "Wrong Colour," and "I'll Play You Out." They have toured extensively throughout Canada and the United States, sharing the stage with bands like The Strokes, Interpol, and The National.
