Dominique Blanc-Francard is a French sound engineer and music producer, born on September 14, 1944, in Rueil-Malmaison. He began his career in music as a rhythm guitarist and bassist in the French band Les Pingouins in the early 1960s. Later, he worked as a sound engineer at the famous Château d'Hérouville studios, where he had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned artists like Pink Floyd, Elton John, and David Bowie. Blanc-Francard has also achieved success as a producer, notably with Stephan Eicher's album *Engelberg* in 1992. He is the father of French musicians Sinclair and Boom Bass, and he runs the Labomatic studio in Paris alongside Bénédicte Schmitt.
In recent years, Dominique Blanc-Francard has been involved in various projects, including *It's a Teenager Dream*, which features a diverse lineup of artists such as Françoise Hardy and Carla Bruni.
