Krabathor

Krabathor is a Czech death metal band, originally formed in 1984 by Christopher under the name "Crusader", but it wasn't until 1991 that they officially changed their name to Krabathor, inspired by an extraterrestrial god from a story written by bassist and vocalist Christopher. The band is known as one of the first of its kind in Eastern Europe and has made a significant impact on the death metal scene with their aggressive riffs, deep guttural vocals, and complex rhythms.

Their musical journey is showcased through a series of albums that capture the evolution of their sound. 1993's "Cool Mortification" and 1998's "Orthodox" represent key points in their career, with the latter being highly praised for its technical prowess and punishing musicianship. Over the years, the band has released a slew of recordings that have cemented their status within the metal community. Their more recent works, such as "LIES" and "The Rise of Brutality", continue to reflect their relentless dedication to the genre, showcasing both a mastery of the classic death metal style and an ability to incorporate new elements. Despite several lineup changes, Krabathor's influence remains strong, and their music continues to resonate with fans of the genre around the world.
