Shreya Bhattacharya

Shreya Bhattacharya is a remarkably talented young tabla player from Bokajan, Assam, who has gained recognition for her exceptional skill at a very young age. Born on January 20, 2010, she started learning tabla at just three years old under the guidance of her father, a music teacher, and later received advanced training from respected gurus. Shreya has won multiple prestigious awards and even set records for her tabla performances, including breaking the India Book of Records for the longest tabla play time. She has also performed internationally and earned the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar in 2023 for her outstanding achievements in music.

In addition to her classical tabla prowess, Shreya has recently released contemporary music singles such as "Greater Than Anything," "Banglar Maati Banglar Jol" from the film "Nana Hee," and contributed to the "Kirity Roy" movie soundtrack. These recent releases show her versatility and expanding presence in the modern music scene while still grounded in her classical roots.
