Gunner Jules

Gunner Jules is a Sicangu Lakota alternative R&B/hip-hop artist born and raised on South Dakota’s Rosebud Reservation, recognized for his genre-blending tracks and collaborations. As co-founder of the Indigenous-led music platform ALLSZN, he works to amplify Native artists while crafting his own music, including tracks like the NAMMY-nominated “Energies” and BBC charting “What Makes Us,” both featured in films like *The Incredible 25th Year of Mitzi Bearclaw*. His 2022 EP and recent releases like “Another Way” and “Want from Me” showcase his signature mix of soulful vocals and contemporary beats, reflecting his journey from local youth advocate to an internationally touring artist.

Balancing music with grassroots activism, Jules merges modern R&B with cultural storytelling, collaborating with artists like ProlificTheRapper and LetItBee while supporting emerging Indigenous talent through ALLSZN’s initiatives. His work spans singles, EPs, and film soundtracks, solidifying his role as a bridge between traditional influences and modern hip-hop/R&B.
