The group emerged from the preparations for World Youth Day 2013 in Rio de Janeiro and has since gained popularity, particularly among young Catholics. Their music combines contemporary pop styles with religious themes, and they've released several albums including "Qaos," "Sencillamente," and "Pasión". In September 2022, Hakuna Group Music drew 8,000 people to a concert at Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid, where they presented their album "Qaos". Their song "Huracán" went viral on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, garnering over two million views.
