Roxanna Panufnik is a British composer and conductor who has made a name for herself with her evocative and emotionally charged music. Born in London to Polish composer Andrzej Panufnik, she studied at the Royal Academy of Music and later at the Juilliard School in New York. Panufnik's compositions often draw inspiration from her Polish heritage, as well as from her travels around the world. Her music is known for its rich textures, soaring melodies, and evocative use of instrumentation. She has written for a wide range of ensembles, including orchestras, chamber groups, and soloists.
