Locomotiv GT

Locomotiv GT, or LGT for short, was a Hungarian rock band formed in 1971. The band's original lineup consisted of Gábor Presser (vocals, keyboards), Tamás Somló (vocals, bass), Károly Frenreisz (guitar), and József Laux (drums). LGT quickly gained popularity in Hungary and Eastern Europe, becoming one of the most successful rock bands in the region. Their music was characterized by a blend of rock, pop, and folk influences, and their lyrics often dealt with social and political issues. LGT released a number of successful albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including "Locomotiv GT" (1971), "Ringasd el magad" (1973), and "Mindig magasabbra" (1981). The band disbanded in 1992, but their music continues to be popular in Hungary and beyond.
