Elizabeth Raum is a composer and tubist who has been pushing the boundaries of her instrument for decades. Her music is often described as "otherworldly" and "ethereal," and she has been praised for her innovative use of extended techniques and her ability to create soundscapes that are both beautiful and haunting. Raum has performed and recorded with a wide range of artists, including the Kronos Quartet, the Bang on a Can All-Stars, and the International Contemporary Ensemble. She is also a founding member of the experimental music group Wet Ink.
