Made in Sweden was a Swedish jazz-rock supergroup active from 1968 to 1977. The band was founded by Georg Wadenius (guitar), Bo Häggström (bass, piano, and organ), and Tommy "Slim" Borgudd (drums), all of whom were previously members of the pioneering Swedish rock group Lea Riders Group. Their debut album, *Made in Sweden (with Love)*, released in 1968, was a hit in Sweden and even received a Grammy nomination. The band won the Swedish Grammis for Best Band in both 1969 and 1970. They were closely associated with the Stockholm music venue "Gyllene Cirkeln," where they recorded a live album, *Live At the Golden Circle*, in 1970. Over the years, the band's lineup changed, with notable additions including singer Tommy Körberg, Polish keyboardist Wlodek Gulgowski, Finnish bassist Pekka Pohjola, and Finnish drummer Vesa Aaltonen. Their final album, *Where Do We Begin*, was released in 1976.
Made in Sweden's discography includes several notable albums such as *Snakes in a Hole* (1969), *Made in England* (1970), and *Regnbågslandet* (1970). The band's music blended elements of jazz and rock, contributing to the vibrant Swedish music scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Despite their relatively short career, Made in Sweden left a lasting impact on Swedish music history.
