The Distillers

The Distillers, formed in 1998 in Los Angeles, California, are a punk rock band led by frontwoman Brody Dalle. Their music is characterized by raw, aggressive tones and emotionally charged lyrics, combining elements of hardcore punk and alternative rock. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2000, which was a significant stepping stone in the punk scene. Following a string of successful releases, including the highly acclaimed album "Sing Sing Death House" in 2002 and "Coral Fang" in 2003, The Distillers solidified their place in the punk rock pantheon.

After a hiatus starting in 2006, The Distillers announced their reunion in 2018, much to the delight of their fans. Recent releases like "Live In Lockdown" and a remastered version of their debut album reflect their continued influence and enduring appeal. With Brody Dalle's distinctive, gritty vocals and the band's unyielding punk ethos, The Distillers remain a major force in contemporary punk music.
