Spirit Crusher is a hardcore band from southern Germany formed in 2015, known for their intense straight edge ethos combined with strong commitments to human rights and animal rights. The five-piece group—featuring Dominik Elberskirch on vocals, Andreas Villhauer and Adrian Zieger on guitars, Peter Bastian on bass, and Michael Dester on drums—channels a powerful crossover sound that blends traditional hardcore punk with thrash metal influences, drawing comparisons to classic bands like Cro-Mags and early Metallica. Their music is direct and impactful, delivering aggressive riffs and thought-provoking lyrics that challenge emotional manipulation and societal illusions.

Since their debut demo in 2015, Spirit Crusher has steadily built a presence across Europe and the UK, releasing a 7-inch EP called *The Absolute* in 2016, followed by their full-length album *Whispers Against the Roar of the World* in 2019. Their most recent release, the *Dream World* EP in 2023 under Triple B Records, continues to showcase their evolving sound with tracks that explore idealism and deceptive realities, marked by thrash-forward riffs and commanding vocals.
