Nervous Triggers

Nervous Triggers is a punk rock band from Keyport, New Jersey, formed in the spring of 2015. The band consists of Jay Insult on vocals, Patski on guitar, J. Nixon on bass, and Eric Truchan on drums. Their music combines elements of punk, hardcore, surf rock, new wave, and ska, often focusing on satirical commentary about current political issues and social awareness. The band name is inspired by a line from The Clash's song "Groovy Times," reflecting themes of political tension and mental health. Nervous Triggers have released several notable works, including their *Demo 2016* and the *Do the Drool* EP, which was released to coincide with the inauguration of the U.S. president in 2017.

Their music is deeply rooted in the DIY ethos, with strong ties to the vibrant music scene around Asbury Park and New Brunswick.
