Raza Ali Khan

Raza Ali Khan is a renowned Hindustani classical vocalist born on August 8, 1962, in Bombay. He hails from the esteemed Patiala Gharana and is the grandson of the legendary Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan. Raza Ali Khan received his early musical training from his grandfather and later from his father, Ustad Munawar Ali Khan. He is known for his performances in various genres, including Khayal, Thumri, Dadra, Ghazal, and more. Raza Ali Khan is also an accomplished music director and composer, having worked with notable artists like Ghulam Ali.

Throughout his career, Raza Ali Khan has performed at numerous prestigious music festivals in India and abroad, including the Nehru Centre in London and the Dover Lane Music Conference in Calcutta. His discography includes albums such as "Gharana Lineage" and "3 Generations," which reflect his rich musical heritage. As the current Khalifa of the Kasur Patiala Gharana, Raza Ali Khan continues to uphold the legacy of his illustrious family in Hindustani classical music.
