2 Plus 1 was a Polish band formed in Warsaw in January 1971 by guitarist Janusz Kruk and flautist Elżbieta Dmoch. The group initially performed under the name Smak Miodu (The Taste of Honey) before changing their name to Dwa Plus Jeden (2 Plus 1). They gained early recognition at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole, where they won an award for their song "Nie zmogła go kula." Over their active years until 1992, 2 Plus 1 released a significant amount of music, including ten studio albums, twenty compilation albums, three EPs, and twenty-nine singles. Some of their notable albums include *Nowy wspaniały świat*, *Easy Come, Easy Go*, and *Bez limitu*, all of which were certified Gold in Poland.
Their music career spanned over two decades, during which they performed both domestically and internationally, including in West Berlin and the Soviet Union. The band's discography reflects a diverse range of musical styles and themes, contributing to their popularity in Poland and beyond. Despite the band's dissolution, their legacy remains significant in Polish music history.
