George Onslow
George Onslow was a French composer born in 1784. He is best known for his chamber music, particularly his string quintets. Onslow's music is characterized by its melodic beauty, rhythmic vitality, and rich harmonies. He was a prolific composer, writing over 300 works, including symphonies, concertos, operas, and chamber music. Onslow's music was highly regarded by his contemporaries, and he was a member of the French Academy of Fine Arts. He died in 1853.
