El Monteaguilino

El Monteaguilino is a Chilean folklorist and television host, born José Heriberto Sepúlveda Beltrán on September 27, 1960, in Monte Águila, Chile. He made his debut in 1988 at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival with the song "El Caballito de Metal," which became iconic despite being disqualified due to not adhering to traditional Chilean folklore requirements at the time. El Monteaguilino has been active in the music scene since then, focusing on genres like cueca and guaracha. He has also worked as a television host, notably on the program "Revoliendo el Gallinero" from 2012 to 2015. In recent years, he has continued to produce music, including releases such as "Fiesta Mix 3.0 Fiesta Huasa Ranchera" and "Fiesta Chilena," which reflect his continued involvement in folk music.
