Maria Cecilia Farina is an accomplished Italian classical organist and professor based in Milan. She trained at the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, earning diplomas in organ and organ composition, piano, harpsichord, choral music, and choral conducting. Farina studied organ under renowned musicians including Michel Chapuis, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Harald Vogel, and Michael Radulescu in Vienna, and further honed her harpsichord skills with Kenneth Gilbert at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena. She has won several prizes in organ and harpsichord competitions and regularly performs across Europe, Argentina, Israel, and South Korea. She also teaches organ and Gregorian chant at her alma mater, the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi of Milan. Her discography includes works by Vittadini and Scarlatti, reflecting her commitment to both organ repertoire and keyboard music.
Additionally, Maria Cecilia Farina holds a doctorate from the University of Pavia, where she also resides.
