Si Cranstoun

Si Cranstoun is an English singer-songwriter known for his vibrant blend of rock and roll, rhythm and blues, and vintage pop. Born in Caterham, Surrey, in October 1971, Cranstoun grew up surrounded by music, thanks to his father, who promoted Jamaican music in the 1960s. He spent many years as a street busker in London and was a founding member of the ska band the Dualers, which he formed with his brother Tyber. After leaving the Dualers in 2010, Cranstoun shifted his focus towards a more rock and rhythm and blues-oriented style. His music career took a significant leap when he was spotted performing on the street and subsequently signed with Warner Music's East West label. His album *Modern Life* peaked at number 30 on the UK Albums Chart in 2014.

Cranstoun's musical influences are deeply rooted in the 1950s and 1960s, with Elvis Presley being a significant inspiration. His style has been described as a fusion of Motown soul and rock 'n' roll, with comparisons to artists like the Bee Gees and Billy Joel. Some of his notable releases include *Dancehalls & Supper Clubs*, *Old School*, and singles like "Caught in the Moonlight" and "Never Gonna Let You Go". Cranstoun's performances have also included collaborations with legendary artists, such as Little Richard in Las Vegas.
