Venera is an electronic music project formed by James "Munky" Shaffer, the renowned guitarist from the nu-metal band Korn, and Atlanta-based composer and filmmaker Chris Hunt. Launched around 2022, Venera blends glitch, dark electronic, and industrial elements into a compelling and atmospheric soundscape. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2023, features collaborations with notable artists like HEALTH and Deantoni Parks, showcasing a sharp fusion of electronics and experimental textures beyond traditional rock boundaries.
