The Thing
The Thing is a jazz quartet that has been making waves in the music scene since their formation in 2000. The group consists of saxophonist Mats Gustafsson, bassist Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, drummer Paal Nilssen-Love, and guitarist Eivind Aarset. Known for their experimental and improvisational approach to jazz, The Thing has released a string of critically acclaimed albums and toured extensively worldwide. Their music is characterized by its raw energy, infectious grooves, and fearless exploration of sonic boundaries.
