Abaddon is a Polish punk rock band formed in Bydgoszcz in 1982. They initially went by the name "Partyzantka Miejska" ("Urban Guerilla") before settling on Abaddon. The band gained recognition through performances at the Jarocin Festival in 1983, 1984, and 1985. Their early lineup changes included Kiki (Waldek Jedyczowski) taking over as lead vocalist after the original singer Wolf left the group.
After disbanding in 1987 due to creative differences, Abaddon reunited in 2001 with original members Tomek Dorn and Kiki joining forces with new musicians. The band has released several albums throughout their career, including "Wet Za Wet" in 1986, which was later reissued on CD in 2001 with bonus tracks. Abaddon continues to be active in the Polish punk rock scene.
