Jeniferever was a post-rock band hailing from Uppsala, Sweden, known for their ethereal soundscapes, melancholic melodies, and thoughtful lyrical content. Founded in the late 1990s by childhood friends Kristofer Jönson (vocals/guitar), Martin Sandström (guitar), Olle Bilius (bass), and Fredrik Aspelin (drums), the group took its unique name from a misspelling of Jennifer, a character in the indie film "The Goonies." Their musical journey was marked by a penchant for crafting expansive and emotive tracks, often characterized by layering delicate guitar work over a tightly interwoven rhythm section.

Over the years, Jeniferever drew acclaim for several releases that exemplified their distinct blend of post-rock and ambient sensibilities. The band's debut album, "Choose a Bright Morning," released in 2006, set the bar high and established their reputation within the indie and post-rock community. This was followed by "Spring Tides" in 2009, the "Nangijala" EP, and 2011's "Silesia," an album titled after the Silesia train station in Berlin and inspired by the sudden passing of Jönson's father.
