Coupdekat, whose real name is Katherine Reilly, is a vibrant English musician known for her eclectic sound and energetic presence in the UK's alt-pop scene. Born in Luton, she began playing guitar at ten and started writing songs at fourteen, initially focusing on themes of love and heartbreak. Her musical journey took a significant turn during the COVID-19 lockdown, when she transitioned from being part of bands to pursuing a solo career. Her debut EP, *Imaginary Girls*, released in 2022, explored themes of isolation and online relationships. Her second EP, *For Entertainment Purposes Only*, reflects her experiences post-lockdown, delving into party culture and personal growth.

Beyond her music, Coupdekat is also the co-founder of Loud LDN, a collective that supports female and non-binary musicians in London. This initiative has become a vital platform for underrepresented voices in the music industry, fostering a sense of community and creativity among its members. Coupdekat's recent releases, such as "Superglue," "Babyteef," and "It's Not You," showcase her evolving style and thematic depth, blending indie pop with elements of dance music. Her music is characterized by its infectious energy and personal narratives, making her a standout figure in contemporary British music.
