Hernan Hecht is a versatile musician born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1975. He is a renowned drummer, composer, producer, teacher, and visual artist known for his eclectic style and extensive work in the music industry. Hecht has collaborated with numerous artists such as John Medeski, Billy Martin, and Cyro Baptista, and has been involved in various projects like A Love Electric, ASH Trio, and his own Hernan Hecht X-Pression Quartet. He won a Latin Grammy Award in 2010 for his work on Ely Guerra's album "Hombre Invisible" and has received multiple nominations for his contributions to other albums.
