CLERICBEAST is a Portuguese heavy metalcore band from Montijo, Portugal, formed in 2020. The band consists of Pedro Barreiros (vocals), Gonçalo Moreira (guitar), Luís Gomes (guitar), Emanuel Pereira (bass and vocals), and António Belo (drums). They are known for their dissonant melodies and rapid tempos, blending various noisy styles. CLERICBEAST has released several notable works, including their debut "Placeholder" (initially in 2020, with a remastered version in 2021), a self-titled EP in 2022, and more recently, the EP "Restless Dreams." This latest work explores themes of tiredness, duress, and resilience, drawing inspiration from anime, video games, and horror movies.

The band's live performances are a core part of their journey, having shared stages with notable acts like BIZARRA LOCOMOTIVA, MOONSPELL, and international bands such as BROTHERS TILL WE DIE and KRUELTY. CLERICBEAST draws inspiration from bands like SANCTION, VEIN, CODE ORANGE, FULL OF HELL, and SLIPKNOT. Their music often incorporates personal insights and narratives from media like "Berserk," "Evangelion," and "Bloodborne," reflecting their eclectic influences and thematic depth.
