Honey Creek

Honey Creek is a pop punk and emo band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Formed from a couple of Milwaukee D.I.Y. bands, their original lineup included Donnie on drums, Sam on guitar, Dylan on bass, and Dominick as their original singer. Over time, the band evolved, and their current lineup features Chris Merisalo on vocals, Ellee Grim on guitar and backing vocals, Dylan Ljujic on bass, Sam Theno on guitar, and Donnie Warren on drums. Their name is inspired by a creek behind Ljujic's high school. Honey Creek's music is characterized by fast-paced guitar riffs, pounding percussion, and infectious hooks, drawing inspiration from vintage punk and pop punk acts. Their debut full-length album, "A Whole Year in Transit," was released in 2020, and they have since released several singles, including "NPR," "Midwest Summer," "Hear Me Now," "iQuit," and "Burnt Bitter."

The band's music often explores themes of self-discovery, empowerment, and movement, reflecting their experiences with touring and personal growth. Honey Creek has established themselves as a notable presence in the punk and pop punk scene, known for their energetic live performances and catchy, upbeat tunes. They have performed at various venues and festivals, including the Milwaukee Punk Festival and the Grog Shop in Cleveland.
