Cicatriz

Cicatriz was a punk rock band from the Basque Autonomous Community in Spain, formed in 1983. The band played a significant role in the Basque Radical Rock movement, known for their in-your-face attitude and provocative live performances. Their music featured ferocious drumming, forceful guitar riffs, and combative lyrics that addressed social and political issues, making them a voice for the underrepresented Basque community. Cicatriz was one of the first bands to sing in Basque, a minority language in Spain, which helped them forge a distinctive identity within the punk scene.

Their discography includes notable albums such as *Inadaptados* (1986), *4 años, 2 meses y 1 día* (1991), and *Colgado por ti* (1992). The band also released a live album titled *En Directo* in 1994. Despite facing personal struggles, including health issues and the loss of band members, Cicatriz left a lasting impact on the Spanish punk scene and continues to be celebrated for their passionate and emotionally charged music.
