The California Parallele Ensemble

The California Parallele Ensemble is a contemporary classical music group based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2008 by conductor Steven Schick, the ensemble is dedicated to performing and promoting new and experimental music. They have collaborated with some of the most innovative composers of our time, including John Cage, Morton Feldman, and Iannis Xenakis. Their performances are known for their precision, energy, and commitment to pushing the boundaries of musical expression.

The ensemble has released several critically acclaimed albums, including "La Musique de Germaine Tailleferre Vol. II," "Harrison: Works 1939-2000," and "Cowell: Dancing with Henry." They have also toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, performing at prestigious venues such as the Lincoln Center in New York City and the Barbican Centre in London.
