Unaligned

Unaligned is a tech death metal band that formed in December 2020, born out of a creative reunion between vocalist Andrew Guia and guitarist Taylor Tidwell who previously collaborated in a project called Abhorrency back in 2011. They quickly developed their sound with a streamlined and organic songwriting process, centering their debut album *Inner Dimensions* around the album's thematic cover art. After composing guitars and lyrics, they brought in drummer Jack Blackburn to complete the recording, culminating in a full album release with a focus on cohesive, immersive heaviness featuring keys and orchestral elements contributed by Dale Urban. The band members also share ties with other projects like Withered Throne and Visitant, highlighting a tight-knit and evolving musical community.

Unaligned has continued to release music steadily, with notable albums such as *Monomania*, *Entities of Ash*, and their most recent *A Form Beyond*, which came out internationally on September 12, 2025.
