Tav Falco

Tav Falco is a genre-defying artist known for blending rockabilly, blues, garage rock, and surreal performance art into a style he calls "wreckabilly." Originally from Arkansas and later based in Memphis, Tennessee, Falco co-founded the band Tav Falco's Panther Burns in the late 1970s with Alex Chilton (of Big Star fame). The band built a cult following with their raw, lo-fi sound and theatrical performances that channel southern gothic themes and avant-garde influences.

Falco is not just a musician—he’s also a filmmaker, writer, and performance artist, with a deep fascination for obscure Americana and European culture. Over the years, he’s released a steady stream of albums that showcase his flair for dramatic storytelling and offbeat charm, such as Cabaret of Daggers and The Drone Ranger.
