Begerith

Begerith is a Russian extreme metal band formed in 2003 in Vladivostok. Initially known as Hagalar, the band later moved to Moscow in 2016. Their music style has evolved from black metal to blackened death metal over time. Begerith's lyrical themes include occultism, theology, philosophy, and the cosmos. The band has released two full-length albums: "My Way to the Star…" in 2013 and "A.D.A.M." in 2017, along with an EP titled "Dreamactor" in 2009. The album "A.D.A.M." was recorded at Hertz Studio in Poland, known for its work with notable bands like Behemoth and Vader.

The band's current lineup includes Aleksei Bushuev on guitar and vocals, Egor Menshikov on bass, Egor Pavlov on guitar, and Evgeniy Mazur on drums. Begerith has toured extensively, performing alongside prominent metal bands such as Marduk, Vader, and Behemoth. Their music reflects a darker and more extreme sound, drawing inspiration from classic blackened death metal styles. Despite their origins in Russia, the band has had connections with Poland, where they recorded some of their work.
