Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad and also fondly called "Imole," was a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter born on June 8, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria. He emerged from humble beginnings and started his music journey with freestyle videos on Instagram before signing with Marlian Records in 2019. MohBad quickly gained traction with hit tracks like "Ponmo" featuring Naira Marley and Lil Kesh, "Feel Good," and "KPK (Ko Por Ke)" featuring Rexxie, which earned multiple award nominations. Known for blending Afrobeat, street pop, and hip-hop with relatable lyrics, MohBad carved out a distinct space in Nigeria’s music scene. He released his debut album "Imole" in 2022 to widespread acclaim, showcasing his talent as a leading artist of his generation. Tragically, his promising career was cut short when he passed away in September 2023 at just 27 years old, leaving behind a lasting legacy loved by fans across Africa.
