Endless Melancholy
Endless Melancholy is the ambient and modern classical music project of Oleksiy Sakevych, a self-taught musician from Kyiv, Ukraine. Launched in November 2011, the project explores minimal piano compositions and ambient soundscapes. Sakevych has released several albums and EPs on various independent labels, including Preserved Sound and Hidden Vibes.
Sakevych's music as Endless Melancholy often incorporates piano, electronic elements, and field recordings to create atmospheric and emotive compositions. He has collaborated with other artists in the ambient and experimental music scenes and has performed live in Kyiv. Outside of Endless Melancholy, Sakevych is also involved in other musical projects, including playing guitar and keys in the post-rock band Sleeping Bear.
