Arpita Chowdhury

Arpita Chowdhury is a talented singer and a rising star in the Odia music scene, known for her soulful renditions and captivating voice. She initially started her artistic journey as a trained Odissi dancer, winning a national level solo dance competition in 2002, which eventually led her to pursue music more seriously when she was in sixth grade. Arpita has been trained by esteemed gurus such as Sri Bibhudutta Nayak and Sri Jayanta Sarkar, and her musical journey took a significant leap when she participated in competitions like Voice of Odisha in 2011, Zee SaReGaMaPa (making it to the Super 100 in 2016), and Indian Idol (Top 60). She credits her family and mentors for their unwavering support and cites Sonu Nigam as a major inspiration.

Her popular songs include a recreated version of the iconic “Nahi Mo Pade Aji Nupura,” and hits like “Mana Khojuthila Gote Premika” (with Humane Sagar), “Kie Achi Mora To Binare,” and “Sefali” (with Kuldeep Patnaik), which have earned her a special place in the hearts of listeners across Odisha. Besides her strong presence in the Odia music industry, Arpita maintains an active connection with her fans through social media, where she shares her music and updates on her growing career.
