Deep Sea Gypsies

The Deep Sea Gypsies are a band from Victoria, British Columbia, known for their unique blend of musical styles. Rooted in the hard-driving blues of the '60s and '70s, their sound is also influenced by classic rock, with elements of hip hop and rap. The band consists of Loke Webb on vocals, Johnny Regimbal on guitar, Marty Boggs on bass, and Greg Moore on drums. They have been friends since high school and have developed a distinctive sound over the years, evolving from covering classic rock and blues to creating their own original music. The Deep Sea Gypsies have released several albums and EPs, showcasing their eclectic style and energetic live performances.

Their music is a fusion of 60’s psych blues rock and 70’s southern rock, mixed with funk and soul, drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Muddy Waters. The band has gained recognition for their originality and has been praised by fellow musicians, such as Jesse Roper, who appreciates their unique sound and energetic performances. They have been featured as the "band of the month" by The ZONE 91-3FM and have plans to continue touring and releasing new music.
