CES Cru

CES Cru, a dynamic hip-hop duo from Kansas City, Missouri, is composed of Ubiquitous (Mike Viglione) and Godemis (Donnie King). Their unique brand strikes a balance between sharp lyricism and hard-hitting beats, a style that has carved out a dedicated following in the underground rap scene. The group initially formed in the early 2000s, with a rotating collective of members, but it was the partnership between Ubiquitous and Godemis that solidified the Cru's identity.

The duo became well-known for their rapid-fire flow and complex rhymes, propelling them to sign with the independent powerhouse label Strange Music in 2012. Following the signing, CES Cru released a series of albums and EPs that showcased their evolution as artists and expanded their fan base. Key projects include the critically acclaimed "Constant Energy Struggles" (2013) and its follow-up "Codename: Ego Stripper" (2014), which further entrenched their position in the hip-hop community. "Catastrophic Event Specialists" (2017), their most recent full-length endeavor at the time of this writing, continues their tradition of crafting thought-provoking and technique-driven music that challenges and captivates listeners. With a solid discography and a reputation for electrifying live performances, CES Cru has earned their place as a respected act in the spheres of rap and hip-hop.
