Holy Moses
Holy Moses is a pioneering thrash metal band from Aachen, Germany, known for their aggressive sound and the fierce vocals of frontwoman Sabina Classen. Formed in the early 1980s, Holy Moses quickly made a name for themselves in the German and global metal scenes with raw, high-speed riffs and socially charged lyrics. They stood out not only for their musical intensity but also because Sabina was one of the first female vocalists to front a thrash metal band with such ferocity and command.
Their debut album, Queen of Siam, dropped in 1986 and set the tone for a career spanning several decades, with standout releases like Finished with the Dogs, The New Machine of Liechtenstein, and Redefined Mayhem. In 2023, the band released Invisible Queen, marking a powerful return and a celebration of their final chapter, as it accompanied their farewell tour. Over the years, Holy Moses has remained a significant influence in the thrash genre, staying true to their roots while evolving their sound, and leaving a lasting mark on the metal world.
