Maxine Troglauer is a talented bass trombonist and composer born in Wiesbaden, Germany, in 1995. After completing a two-year master’s program at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, Maxine now lives in Berlin as a freelance musician. In 2025, she released her debut album *Hymn*, featuring compositions that highlight her innovative approach to music. The album includes notable collaborations, such as with trumpeter Peter Evans, and showcases her ability to navigate complex musical landscapes with confidence and creativity. Maxine is recognized as one of Germany’s leading bass trombonists at a young age, praised for making the seemingly impossible possible on her instrument.
